Questions are: Do you like it? If so, nothing more need said. If not, what does it matter what others think?
I have my students do something similar. I like typographic art. Not a huge fan of the fine text edging along the outside, but the irregular arrangement of the lettering is unique. My student's don't tend to come up with as deep of a message, but here are a few of my student's work: http://mrhensler.com/galleries/digital-design-ii-gallery/typographic-poster/ Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4.
well, I like & appreciate the style, but it is pretty busy. reminds me of this stuff and MGH_PA would probably say/confirm is it in the same style /I smell patchouli /don't bogart it, man!
I guess I'm not into word art. But then, my last art teacher (about 25 years ago) told me that my form of art was no good because 'realism is not artistic expression' or something like that. Basically, I sucked because I was trying to make a deer sculpture look like.... a deer. I was kind of crushed and never even finished it. LOL I say, to each his own.
