Before anyone accuses me of race baiting. Relax. I am merely wanting to know if this article is factual. I read it this morning on Yahoo of all places. The reason I am asking is twofold. 1)it appears to be written by Pat Buchanan. Knowing his past, I would tend to think he may be exaggerating his stats or something and I have never been a big fan of his 2) If anyone works in LE do these numbers even seem plausible? I am thinking its about time the damn media starts doing good old fashioned fact checking like in the old days before getting the "facts" out there. However, i read one thing early in the week and now this. truth of the matter I should probably shut of the news and stop reading articles. Just seems that they didn't get the reaction they wanted from the Zimmerman verdict so now they are trying to fan the flames again. I guess I have never seen it this obvious however. I did copy and paste some text from the article into google and see where the numbers originate in NYC. I did not realize the far reaching intrusion of stop and frisk that was going on. I'm all for public safety, but where does it draw the line with intrusion of personal freedom. People get mad over the NYC soda ban atempt, but geez that stop and frisk business is Orwellian for sure.
I have heard some say they want it instituted in chicago as well but I would think martial law would have to be inacted before such intrusion on personal liberties could take place. Stop and frisk is unacceptable. But it's funny, in Chicago, they're going to hand out letters..... It's like an impotent version of the Future Crimes Division. These people are f'n idiots!!!! The most likely person to be shot will be the one delivering that letter! You don't go walking into a cage with a lion and start poking it with a stick. Seriously the people in charge in Chicago have to be some of the dumbest people on the planet.
