hi, i'm new to the forum. I was just wondering about arrow length and what others thought about it. do you think longer is better for stabilizing arrow in flight? is shorter arrow faster but less forgiving to shoot? how do you determine what length YOU shoot? I have been shooting for 10 years or better and have found that the newer faster bows seem to shoot better with shorter arrows, but i would love to hear what you guys have to say on the subject. just looking for some food for thought.... thanks...

I start with On Target 2 to get their recommendation for arrow length based on my set up (bow, draw weight, draw length, arrow spine and arrow point weight). If that needs tweeking then I'll start cutting arrows 1/4 inch at a time until I get the optimum length.

I use On Target 2 software to build my arrow based off of my bow set-up. My current arrow length is 28 inches.

Mine are pretty much as short as I can get them without broadhead clearance issues.
