How many of you user arrow wraps and why? Is it that fletching holds better and its much cleaner when you have to refletch? Or if it's more of a cosemtic thing just come out and say it!

I've used them for the last few years. I love them. My arrows fly the same as if they had regular fletching on them. Easy to put on. Just boil water an dip them in. I have one arrow that has lasted through three deer and still looks brand new. Plus they look sweet!

Why would you dip wraps in boiling water? I have them on mine just cuz I like how they look. Just a mother way to make the arrows more personalized. Have bh.com predator camo wraps on mine.

I need to clarify. I was refering to the adhesive type that don't come pre-fletched. Although I would agree with you Z7, they are too expensive for me. Fletching a couple dozen arrows or more with "quick fletch" will break the bank. Cheapest price I have found on the NAP Quickfletch is $22 for 6 and thats if you can find them at that price. They are usually closer to $30 I believe.

They are really great for a quick fix when you are away from home! I keep them in my "field repair" kit. :)

I'll go ahead and let the cat out of the bag. I am attempting to see what the market is for wraps.

Here is a example of the wraps I have been using for personal use. Although the design has changed a bit. The white background is reflective. It glows in the dark similar to a street sign when you hit it with light.

I've been thinking about attempting to obtain licensing for these particular wraps and marketing them.

Don't go balistic on me if you are not a Mathew's fan boy! I have made other wraps for other bow manufacturers as well. What are your thoughts?

All they do is make your look pretty. Waste of money to me.

I use mine to help me find them and to see the flight of the arrow. Being red-green color blind, I already have enough problems with blood trails, losing arrows would just make me miserable. I figured i'd go with one of the brightest colors they make. I originally thought about white but it would blend in with snow too well.

You should think of all the possibilities as to why somebody would use these before you post that.

Best reason in my opinion is you don't have to scrap the graphite off your shafts to get the glue off, next time you have to scrap the vanes off the shaft do it over a white paper towel and check it out. Wraps are just a lot easies in my opinon. Yea and adds a little personal touch. a little bling

I don't have wraps on my arrows but I am having them custom painted. My reasons are 1) personalization 2) it's hard finding a camo shaft in the woods or on the ground 3) I like supporting the craft of entrepreneurs who do good work right here in the US. Could I get by with the plain shafts, of course. But when you are obsessed with bow hunting as everyone is on this site there is nothing wrong with giving your equipment a little swagger/ personal touch. I'll post pictures of my arrows when I get them back.

I have never heard of having them painted. Why would you spend the money on that? I understand wraps but not painting.

For me it was customizing my arrows so they were unique to me. Check out the site below where I had them done. I needed to have my arrows refletched so I spent a little extra to get exactly what I wanted.

I would have to assume that anytime you need to replace a fletch you are gonna scrape most of the paint off. Cool.idea though. I like wraps because they are easy, cheap and can be replaced quickly.
