Tell me everything I need to know about arrow wraps? Feel free to show some pics of your wraps.

$40 to fletch a dozen arrows? Yikes Justin!

    Arrow wraps: $10 per dozen
    2" Blazers: $15/100 = $5.40 per dozen arrows
Figure in some glue and a half hour of your time and you've got the same thing for half the cost.

They're far from useless. They give a great base for adhesion of the vane/feather. They make finding your arrow easier (depending on how bright you get them). They also give you a personal touch to crafting your own shafts. I personally think they're one of the best things to come out in archery in recent times. WAY better than dipping in fletch-laq!! Think of all the brain cells they've saved!

One thing to know about Onestringer is that Mindy can't get the brightness of neon with her printer that Bohning seems to be able to get in their wraps. If you want something super bright keep that in mind. Otherwise Mindy has the best customer service anywhere and does some really great designs.

Hey Justin, I tried out the NAP QuickFletch last summer and I was not impressed at all...5 shots and I would lose a fletch or two. I was shooting them through a whisker biscuit, is that my problem? Just recently I put the NAP apache drop away on my bow, do you think this would help? Thanks.

I'm not Justin, but I can tell you that switching to a drop away will be a huge help.

    Useless?

I concur on the "easier to find" reference (see photo). They also make a GREAT bond possible.

    Good luck.

I shoot NAP's quickfletch and a WB and never had a problem yet.

I wonder if its possibly user error?

Other than shooting with the cock-vane down, what kind of error could cause this? Genuine question - no sarcasm intended.

I have the bowhunting.com arrow wraps. They make my arrows really stand out. The vanes do indeed seem to have a very good bond to the wraps.

Couldn't have said it any better...

Heck, I was even able to get my son's first set of arrow wraps done up in a Spiderman theme (he was really into that at age 3 1/2) with his name spun into a web on the back half of the design.

I've enjoyed switching to feathers this year and making my own arrows...now you got me thinking that I might need some wraps to make my arrows even more perrty:)

Greg: I'll have to remember the SpiderMan and kids wraps...little things like that can really move the interest meter on kids...

That's what I'm asking the poster?

I have no idea.. but blaming the wraps is counter-productive.. don't you think?

I go to ebay and but the cheapest 6 inch white wraps i can find, then i cut them in half to use them as 3 inch wraps. So i can wrap two dozen arrows for about 1.99$, this is what ill be doing for the foreseeable future.

I have no clue Duke. I have been reading some reviews, and I'm not the only one with this problem.

I like the quik fletch a lot I just wish I could personalize them.
I currently use NAP quik fletch and arrow wraps and I dont have any issues with either.
