New to bowhunting; but been hunting all my life. I'm 56yrs old. I just bought mathews creed, I have it set at 60lbs and am shooting gold tip xthunter. I weighed arrow on reloading scales and with 100 gr. field tip it weighs 385 gr. I shot it thru chronograph and got a very consistent 262fps. Is this enough to dispatch whitetail? I feel very comfortable with the 60 lb and I think the more I shoot I'll be able to turn it up maybe to 70. I have a 28 1/2 draw. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

No need to turn it up. Keep it comfortable. You will be more consistent and less chance for injury. Plus, when you have been sitting in the cold for hours, the muscles tend to stiffen up.

Arrow weight is fine for whitetail. Shot placement is everything. You could add more weight up front for a higher FOC. Assuming your spine is good on the arrows now.
