So ive been shooting for a while now getting in tune for October 1st and ive had some arrow problems. Ive been shooting Beman ICS Hunting 400 arrows and have had three arrows fail on me now. One knock is offset about 30 degrees and shoots low every time. Another knock is loose and pulls right out so ive put that one aside too. The third actually fell off during a release and smashed into a rock. Im not at all abusive with my equipment and its a brand new Bear Strike (1 month old) and was tuned at the shop so as far as i know it has no issues. Any suggestions on some solid arrows that would do me some good?
I have been using the same arrow for years without any of the problems that you are describing. I've had knocks break from being hit. I do have one arrow that hits about an inch higher and and inch right but I just use that one for practice only. These are not their high priced so the variances for straightness is not at high but they are still a good arrow.
Gold Tip Expedition Hunter shafts are cheap & very strong. I never had any problems with them & for $60 a dozen you can't complain
Click on my link and give these a try. There great arrows at a great price. There shooting really well out of my bow. They also have a 15% off promo code right now (harvesttimearchery)
Goat, I shot those arrows for years without problems. Here is a suggestion for your nocks if they are falling out. Take a thin trash bag and stretch it over the open hole in the back of your arrow. Now take your nock and press it down into the trash bag and into the back of the arrow. Trim off the excess plastic. Your nocks will hold much tighter. If that does not work, go back to the archery shop and get some nocks that correctly fit your arrows.
Thanks guys! It's me Goatskinny but for some reason i could post or reply so i made a new account. Im going to try the trash bag idea on the rest of my arrows then get some gold tip expedition hunters. Hopefully I'll have some luck with these and they wont come apart on me especially when it maters on October 1st!!
