just bought the black eagle carnivores. I shoot a bear agenda 7. 31" 70#. I carelessly bought these online without looking at the spine chart. I got the 350. The spine chart says I should be shooting 250s. Already glued in the inserts and have been shooting em before I decided randomly just to look. Groups were tight at lower yardages but at 60 were not great. Probably operator error. Would this spine difference greatly affect my accuracy?

Now someone at a local bow shop told me that 250s would be too flexible and these 350s are what I need. I thought the lower the number the stiffer. ???

Go to BE's website and pull up their spine chart. See for yourself. Typically the lower the number the stiffer accept for carbon express they are opposite.

Lower is stiffer in some brands. I know this is true with Easton's but with Carbon Express the lower the number the lighter the spine. Spine is what helps an arrow flex and recover from the initial inertia of being fired. It effects both accuracy and consistency, and the farther the shot of course the more evident it becomes. Not to mention the safety factor. Better a heavy than light spine
