According to where my broadheads are hitting my arrows are slightly under spined. Do you guys have any suggestions without having to buy new arrows? And my rest centershot was set and tested and my arrows are still not flying exactly true is this common with under spined arrows?

Decrease your draw weight or shoot a lighter broadhead

Yeah I read that but I was hoping to leave them cranked down inorder to keep my KE up. The arrows are vapor and they say they are good from 55 to 70 lbs.

For a slightly weak spine you can correct by trying different things.

Add weight to the nock end, maybe a bushing or a bushing and a wrap.

You can cut the arrow shorter but you should be very careful doing that, there's no turning back.

Lower your tip weight. If your tips are 125 you can lower to 100 or 85.

You can also do a combination of all of those things. What you want to make sure of when making changes is that you maintain a good FOC.

LOL That is usually the first thing I think of but it didn't even enter my mind this time  . Usually that is the last thing the person wants to do though.

If you are only slightly under spinned then you aren't going to crank the DW down alot which wouldnt effect the KE too much. Also I would be more worried about my arrow flying true then the KE at this point.

How exactly do you know your centershot is correct.Did you even try to tune the broadheads to fieldpoints? If not,you need to start there. If you still have a problem, then crank down the poundage and forget about it.

The poundage listings 55/70 is one of the most innacurate ways to list spine on arrows. How can you shoot the same as arrow as I do if you have a 70# speed bow set at 30" as I do if I am shooting a 55# wheel bow set at 26".

    I tell you how,it ain't gonna happen.

In the future you need to use a chart that atleast will list soft and hard cam as well as give you actuall deflection. Then use the deflection number to choose your arrow. These charts aren't perfect and leave alot of variables out there but they will get you much closer.

The AMO standard does not measure to the end of the point or broadhead. It is measured to the end of the raw shaft only.I speculate it is for spine reason. The broadhead does not flex like the shaft.

BUT,the formula is correct and either method will get you the info you need.
