What is the best method for finding the correct spine in a carbon arrow. I have heard of the floating method, but haven"t tried it and can"t find it on the web anywhere. Anyone have an answer?

The arrow manufacture will have an arrow spine chart. If you are in the grey zone between two arrow spines then i would move up. I used to shoot a .400 spine Axis arrow and then moved up to the .340 and it was a much better result.

Found a site on the web on floating carbon shafts to find the spine. The shaft where the heaviest spine is will roll to the bottom when floating in water.

Go by the recommend manufacturer charts. Floating in water is not accurate or consistant.
