How's it going guys? I was looking for some of your guys personal advice on my next dozen shafts of GT Hunter Pro's. I currently shoot an Elite Impulse 34 with a 30" Draw cranked to 70lbs. My current arrow is a 340 Hunter Pro but am curious as to whether or not you guys think I should be shooting a 300.

I just bought a bitz fletchig jig and am planning to fletch up some new arrows, but before I drop $100 on some new ones, I wanted to get all of your guys advice. Thanks for the help!

    Teddy

Yes your on the weak side with .340s unless you cut them very short. 30/70 ...you really should be into a .300 spine shaft

I shoot at 70 lbs on 29 + draw and have 340's that bare shaft group with 125 gr points. Should be really close. How did your old shafts shoot?

My groups aren't terrible by any means, shooting out to forty I'm generally holding 2-3" groups no problem but I remember watching videos in slow mo where my shafts would come off the string in flight and the amount of power that was in the arrow and the flexing of it seemed a bit more than normal (not the most experience on this by any means) and I figured with my draw length and the fact that I'm shooting at 70lbs I could easily shoot a 300 with potentially better groups. Figured I would get your guys' opinion on the matter.

If I'm reading the chart right, you might need a harder shaft.
