I was looking at some Easton FMJ Arrows today at a local pro shop... I currently shoot a 400 spine arrow @ 8.2 Grains Per Inch. The FMJ's are 400 spine @ 10.2 Grains Per Inch. The guy told me that I would get a heavier strike and more penetration out of the heavier arrow. Thats the way I understood it at least.
