I need some help. im shooting a 335grain easton flatline out of my pse stinger set at 59# and 26.5DL i was unsure if i should add some weight to my arrow for more penetration. or if i should leave it how it is. I used one of those calculators to see what my arrow speed and KE would be and it said i be right abut the same for KE at about 49ft-# and if i added the weight i would lose around 26 fps. if i added weight i would go up to 415grains. what should i do keep it or go up?

let me know what you guys think. thanks in advance for your help.

ok i found your bows IBO it's 314fps
I am guessing you have about 25 grains on your string. so you would really only lose about 16 fps
So IMO I would leave it alone if you are worried about speed.
But if you add a 50gr insert your arrows will flaten out faster
What is your current FOC (front of center balance point from the tip of the field point)

Im not really sure on the FOC. and im not really worried about the speed. Just want to make sure i would be okay with this to hunt whitetail.

Your set up is just fine. If you are hitting you targets consistently. I would not worry at all

A good measure is 6-8 grains per pound. I like mine a little on the faster side so I may be very near the or a tick under the 6 mark. If you move to a 125 head you would just crest that 6 grains per pound mark and improve on your FOC.
However, if you're comfortable it will work just fine.
