I'm currently shooting the 65/85 Cabela's Carbon Hunter arrows (9.3 gpi) with 125gr NAP Thunderheads out of a Z7X set at 72 lbs and a 29.5 inch draw. The inserts are 21gr and the nocks are 13gr. I'm happy with these arrows (and the price tag) but would like to try a heavier arrow set-up next season. Any arrow/insert/broadhead recommondations would be much appreciated. I've been looking at the FMJs, Axis, and Piledriver Hunters, and would am interested in the the Piledriver PassThru Extremes also, but am really open to anything. Thanks!
I have had great success with these (522 grain): Axis 300 50 grain brass inserts Flex-Fletch FFP-390 vanes 125 gr BH (Exodus) FOC 15%+ I also have some arrows for Moose or whatever some day. Heavier yet (588 grain): FMJ 300 75 grain brass inserts Flex-Fletch FFP-360 vanes 125 gr BH (Exodus) FOC 14%+
