    Hi Guys!

I am new to compound bows and am looking forward to getting into Turkey hunting and target shooting. I bought myself a PSE Inferno bow, 28 inch pull, 60lbs. What are some good arrow brands I can pick up that wont break the bank but wont break the first time I shoot them?

    Cheers!

    Matt

Look at getting some HT-2 arrows. There good for hunting and 3D. Click on my link below to check them out.

Best bet for the money IMHO is Goldtip. You can get a half/dz. Expedition Hunter 55/75's for about $35.99 fletched. Super tough arrow

The straightest and strongest arrow you're going to find for your money is the PSE Radial X-Weave Pro. Compare the tolerances on those shafts against anything out there and then look a the price of them. By far the best bang for the buck!

Thinking about switching to Easton FMJ's from whatever the entry level Gold Tips are. I have a new bow this year and need to get it sighted in this week. It is a much faster bow (Allegiance vs Parker Redhawk XP) but same draw length. Poundage is a little more on my new bow (66 vs 62) Any suggestions? Do I need to switch arrows even though I have the same DL?

Spine is effected by a combination of draw weight and/or draw length. If your weight and length were the same you would not have to change. Since you're increasing your draw weight you MAY have to change but only a 4# increase may not effect your spine enough to have to change arrows. It depends on where in your spine range your arrows come out (weak end vs. stiff end) and if they are currently long enough that you can trim them a little shorter. If they're on the weak edge you'll likely need new arrows. If they are on the stiff edge you may be able to keep using them. If they are a little long you can shorten them to compensate for the increased draw weight.
