I'm not very happy with my QAD rest that I've had for about a year now and am looking to buy a new rest, I like the vaportrail limbdriver pro V, trophy taker smack down pro, and the schaffer opposition rest. So far I'm liking the schaffer just because it's a full containment rest, I also have a friend that has one and swears by it. Thanks in advance!

It seems pretty noisy because the forks slam down and hits my shelf (that's why I'm avoiding rests of that style.) And for some reason after my bow hasn't been shot for a while (a day) the first time I draw it back the rest makes a loud "click", but then it won't make that click until the bow sits without being shot again.

Which model do you have? I can't notice any nice when I shoot over the sound of my bow firing, and my bow is fairly quiet. The loud click is odd. They do have a good warranty. Maybe look in to that?

I switched from a QAD to a ripcord ace... The rip cord is so much nicer of a rest with the micro adjust.

We put the Schaffer on my wife's chill sdx, it's a sweet rest for sure and the containment is unmatched IMO....that being said I currently have the QAD ultra rest HDX on my Z7X and have had no issues at all with it. I've heard good things about QADs customer service tho, I'd give em a call.

Out of curiosity which QAD model are you shooting?

I put the Limb Driver Pro-V on my PSE bow and absolutely love it. Have had no problems at all. I tried the QAD HDX (not PSE branded one) on my bow but I could adjust it enough because of the placement of the cable guard on my Surge. I was getting fletching contact, tried the Limb Driver and never looked back.

I don't know that I'll ever move away from my limbdriver, it's a solid piece of equipment.
