So I just got a new Bowtech Solution and I bought a new trophy ridge micro adjust drop away rest and it will not fit. It hits the cable slide, so before I go trying another one, what drop away rest will actually fit. I want to use something like the QAD or Ripcord. I know QAD has the Bowtech version but don’t really want to drop $165 on a rest unless I have too. Thanks for any help. Also what are good options for a light stabilizer and side bar?

I have never had trouble with the QAD HDX ultra rest. I have shot them on a couple Elite and a couple PSE bows. You may be able to find some used ones for around $75-$100.

I’m partial to Bee Stinger (Microhex and Sport Hunter) stabilizers, but Elite makes a well-priced stabilizer combo. Bee Stinger also makes a Microhex Counterslide that adjusts to be both your front bar and back bar.

    Good luck.

QAD . and you don't need the Bowtech QAD. The HDX is all you need

Make sure it’s the HDX version.

The hunter version will work but i prefer the HDX. It's quieter, and locks down without bounce back

Ok, I was just gonna ask about the hunter, I have that one on my bow I’m using now. I’ll just take that one off and use it then.

the thing is, you just spent a good bit of cash on a very nice bow, why put a 50$ rest on it? The Hunter will work, but if you get bounce back you will never tune it. sometimes you don't get the bounce back, but when you do, it's no fun. If you would have bought a budget bow i would understand, but you bought a high end bow. Go with the HDX, you will thank us all for it... Trust us on this one

I didn’t pay for the bow. Lol. I won it in a drawing from the tv show Heartland Bowhunter. I may go ahead and buy the HDX anyways, I still haven’t made up my mind. I’ve shot the QAD hunter for the last six years on my Bear Arena 30 and have had zero issues with tuning or bounce back. I also do realize that the shelf on the solution is different as well. More than likely I’ll take your guys advice and buy the HDX. Lol

even more of a reason to get the HDX!! free bow!!! I used a Hunter for a few years and it was ok, I did get bounce back and it is loud. The HDX is a different animal. could you get by with the Hunter? yeh you "could" but I wouldn't chance it

Ok, I really appreciate the advice. Sounds like I need to just order the new one then and quit overthinking it. Lol

I just bought a Solution SS and the QAD Untrarest HDX. So far so good, no issues.

So now with the Ultrarest HDX there’s still a figment problem. The top capture bar is hitting the rubber dampener on the cable slide cutting my adjustability way down and it looks like the arrow could possibly hit the riser. Is this how it’s suppose to be or is there something going on with my bow?

I’m not that familiar with that bow, but I see what you mean. Most bows don’t have a dampener there. If the arrow doesn’t really hit, I wouldn’t worry about it. I would set the center shot, assure arrow clearance, and let it go with that. The bow has cam adjustment on the axles, I believe. This should minimize the need to adjust the arrow rest left-to-right.

I haven’t set it up yet, I’ve just test fit it to see how it would fit. Just by looking at it I think it’s gonna be close and on top of that it, the launcher that comes down could possibly slap the riser shelf.

I have had several that run dry close to the shelf. Set it so that it lands just shy of hitting. It should come with two different launchers - a shallow and deep cradle. Us the one that gets you closest to the desired Berger hole position without hitting the shelf. Use your nocking point the correct the vertical paper tear at that point. Make sense?

Yeah, it makes sense but I didn’t get 2 launchers, I just got the one. Thanks for the help.
