Looking at getting a new rest, I have apparently "wore out" my QAD ultra, as it will no longer allow thumb locking operation. Still shoots fine but i always lock the fork in the upright position with my thumb. Local bow shop only has the new Mathews version of the QAD Hdx in stock. Spoke with the guy about it and seems to be designed a little different particularly for the Mathesw bows. Just seeing what you guys are shooting and do any of you have any reviews about the Mathews edition QAD drop away rest?

    Thanks,
    BG

The QAD's warranty/customer service is great. Did you look into having it fixed?

Yes. $24.95 to have it refurbished plus the price to ship it to them. That's every bit of #30 or so dollars and the rest only cost $50 new haha. Not that good of a deal when i kind of have my mind set on upgrading to the HDX anyway.
