Newbie here. I have a PSE Fire-Flite Elite that has a small v-shape plastic (i think its plastic) arrow rest that rest the side of the arrow against a small round plastic pin on the side. I'm using Game Getter 2018 arrows and as I draw back the noise is pretty loud and with good "ole buck fever" it is sometimes very difficult to keep the arrow on the rest. The arrow can fall off very easy. I saw a friends bow that has a soft material covered arrow rest with a pretty big pocket for the arrow. Anyone familiar with PSE Fire-flite and is there other arrow rest that would allow more stability during draw?
There's all kinds of rest out today. It's depends on your buget, what you draw you string with. Look at rip cord type rest or fall away, there are shooting biscut types. just pick one or two research them and if you live by a archery proshop see if they will let you try some out on your bow. Shoot well and stright. Rick
Thanks. I know my bow very well and can shoot it, but I spend zero time at shops because where I live there are no shops and I just do not get to town often. Sad thing is that there is a huge Cabellas 1 hr away from me and I have never been there, or any other for that matter.. I keep telling the wife I want to go just to see one!
