Alright right now I have a whisker biscuit but it's starting to get torn up. I'm wanting to change rests, either to a two prong or a drop away rest. The issue I have with a drop away rest is I'm afraid to be out in the woods and have it fail. Reviews show how it can be working fine and then five shots later not fall. Any opinions on what I should do?

In my 6 seasons using a limbdriver, I've never had a failure or malfunction in the field. They're simple, get the job done, and now offer full containment (which they didn't back in the day).

The same can be said of many of today's drop aways. I wouldn't worry about reliability.

Any experience in QAD? I think I'm going to go with the Limbdriver or QAD? Which one is more quiet?

Ive got a real nice QAD HDX for sale in the classifieds! Its the best rest out there IMO, ive shot various QAD models for years and they have always performed great. I shoot an HDX on my Hoyt and its super accurate and silent. Arrow is always locked in place and ready to shoot. Even in subzero temps ive never had it freeze up on me unlike other launcher style drop aways. Always drops, always locks, always deadly

Ive used the same qad hdx for years now and not just during deer season i mean all year i hunt yotes or turkey or just plain shoot a ton and i hunted this last season in negative 40 and worked perfect . I put full trust in my drop away no matter the conditions.

Dropaways have greatly improved the last few years. That said my Limbdriver Pro-V is about as reliable as it gets!

I would get a replacement insert for your WB. It will never fail to drop.

I have been using a drop away for a while and I have never had it fail. I would go with that

Don't buy a junk rest and you won't have a problem. Why shoot a compound when a trad bow will never derail?

    Terrible example.

It will never fail to rip vanes off your arrows and freeze up solid in wet and cold conditions. A QAD HDX is far superior
