Hey guys. This time of year, I'm hunting. I've killed a doe and a hog. I've got a PSE stinger shooting gold tip velocity hunter arrows with swhacker 100gr!
I've got a standard whisker biscuit that came with the bow when I bought it 3 years ago. I know I don't have the best equipment, but it's what I can afford while cutting grass in the neighborhood and spending money on sports and fishing. Anyway, now, I've got some money set aside for my bow. Looking to buy new strings from bowstring depot at the end of the year.

Question is- what rest would you guys suggest? My whisker biscuit is getting frayed from use, and I feel like another rest with less resistance can increase my accuracy. Any help will be appreciated because I'm pretty oblivious compared to some. I always love to learn more. Thanks guys.

Honestly for damn near all but a few hunting situations the WB is more than adequate for what we're trying to achieve.
And buy a new WB insert is going to be the cheapest option.
It's kinda the 30-30 of arrow rests, more deer have probably been taken with those and with little fan fair.

That said I like the QAD rests.

QAD Ultra Rest Hunter. Its $50 and I don't see much different between it and the $100 models.

The differences are small but substantial.

The hunter doesn't have indiviual adjustment (micro) and it doesn't have the lockdown feature which does make it harder to tune.

I've tuned several hunter models and had no issues but I know how to tune them.

Replace the WB and get back to shooting your bow and not wrenching on it.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about the qad. My bow is shooting at about 278fps. I'm also reading that a lot of people are having trouble setting this thing up correctly. I don't want to blow my money on something I'm not educated enough to fix if a problem arises. Help?

They are super easy to setup. I was shooting 270 fps, My wife is shooting 40lbs and not having a problem with hers. Seen it keep up with a Destroyer 350 with a guy built like an Orangutan shooting it.
    So lows,mids and highs.

Except the octane has trash bristles that wear out rather quickly.

I shoot a limb driver pro.

You are SOOO right. I've put a couple hundred arrows through it and no brush wear yet. Obviously trash.

You do need to adjust the brushes to the proper arrow diameter.

A couple hundred! Check back in when that number is greater.

I've changed/trashed more of those rests out that I could count. The WB is far superior option.

Love my biscuit. Simple design, no issues, and spot on accurate. Thousands of shots, not worn much at all. I went to the biscuit from drop away.

My advice is to shoot what you like that works for you, but above all...make sure your bow is tuned properly.
