I have a rinehart bowhunter buck target. For some reason I have difficulty pulling arrows. This is unlike any other rinehart target that I have shot. I have tried everything from armorall to arrow snot for the arrows to come out easier and nothin seems to be working. Any suggestion?

    Woody's Arrow Lube.

If they don't have it here in the BH.com store, you can get it from Lancaster Archery.

Rub the shaft over a bar of soap before you shoot...I only shoot 1 arrow at a time so it is not a big deal.

A little shot of non-stick cooking spray every third shot or so does the trick too, or just dip the tip in some cooking oil (same as arrow lube).

The problem with a bar of soap is it usually adds weight and uneven weight at that.

I agree with Greg,Woody's is the best. But there are others that work well too.I got some from Coffey Marketing and it works well.

It is strange to have that kind of an issue with a Rinehart.

Never thought of that, I barely rub it over the first few inches behind the point. I figure all the lubes would add some sort of weight.

Honest question because you have given me a new thought process on this, do you think it would be enough weight to matter?

I wouldn't use it in a competition but maybe in the back yard but I would always have doubts.I have heard it is quite a bit of weight and some I have seen use it leave clumps which I would never allow for me.

Other lubes do not add weight, they are a liquid and just leave a film on the arrow.

I do agree that arrow lube helps, but at least for me, boy is it a mess... Pretty soon it starts to work up the shaft, next it somehow finds it's way to my hands and then can't pull anything out.... Personally I've never noticed affected arrow flight by running a bar of soap towards the front of the shaft, but that can be a pain too....

If your just shooting regular FP's, you could try some 'easy removal' heads to see if that helps... Otherwise get an arrow puller if you don't have one...

If you dont do woodys try wiping them down with pledge. Just clean em up good before hunting, no lemony fresh arrows in the woods :tu:
