I just got into bow hunting and had no idea how difficult picking arrows would be. I'm lost and could use some input. First I have a PSE Stinger 3 G currently set at 65 pounds with a 26" draw. What kind of arrows should I be shooting? How long? What spline? I'm not looking to break the bank for the top of the line just some decent arrows to get the job done.

Deer crossing archery has hunting arrows ranging from $28 on up. For spine 400 would be good. My arrows are cut to the end of my shelf at full draw. Plus if you get some deer crossing archery arrows you can use my staff code for 10% off and they custom fletch for you. If you don't want to worry about selecting them yourself, you can always go to an archery store and get some help

What is the. .001, .003 or .006 mean? What is better? What nock is better, SD or Pin bushing? What's with the 55/75# on the Eco Hunter?

Ok. .003, .001 etc is your arrow straightness. In all honesty most people can't shoot the difference between them. But in general the straighter the arrow the more consistent the arrow will be in weight and spine which is really important.

As far as nocks go, pick one that fits your shafts and go with it. Pin nocks are tiny nocks usually used for competition.

The 55/75 is used for arrow spine. Or stiffness of arrow. Extremely important for flight. Google hunters friend arrow university. Long read but well worth it.

Yeah it takes a couple of times. Best to read and digest a chapter at a time. You'll get it though. That's the best source of arrow info I've found in one place.
