I am starting to look at arrows to buy. I currently have 2 sets of aluminum arrows. I am looking to pick up a set of carbon arrows. My first question is...blazers or vanes? I am not entirely sure what the pros or cons are of either. I have vanes on all my current arrows, but I have seen alot of blazers being shot at my local proshop/indoor field. Also, has anyone tried the "Cabela's Carbon Hunter Arrows"? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I shoot blazers and have nothing but love for them ;) If you have a bowtech you might have some clearance issues on the cables. simple fix, shoot cock vane at 9:00 position. there very durable and sexy :D Look into victory arrows, I have not tried toe cabelas arrows.

Personally, for hunting, I like a straightness factor of at least .003. So if you are going with Cabelas arrows, I would recommend the "Extreme" line for that fact only. As far as any other brands, I have been had good experiences with Gold Tip and Victory. (no surprises there) For a hunter, I highly recommend the GT XT Hunter. I have worked with tons of these and have found them durable and consistant. Good luck in whatever you do. I have bought most of my arrows through huntersfriend.com as bare shafts and cut and fletch my own.
