I've been shooting Easton Bloodlines that are 8.4 gpi. I just went to buy some and all they had were 7.4 gpi. My question is since these new arrows are lighter will my shot group change? And if so does anyone know by how much?

Lighter arrows won't make as much of a difference as a different diameter will.

Did you get bloodlines again? If so it sounds like you got a different spine and that is a bigger issue if you were correct before. Sounds like you went from a .400 (spine) to a .480 and that is a BIG issue if the .480 is underspined.

Retune and resight if spine is correct.

I stayed with a 400 spine. I'm just not sure why the gpi is different

You went from camo to black?

There won't be much difference in poi until further distances,40+.

    Just check and see.

Yea they don't carry the fully wrapped real tree ones anymore. They're exactly the same other than these have a camo wrap only halfway down the shaft and they have 2 white blazer vanes and 1 red instead of 2 red 1 white

The full camo Bloodlines are heavier. I use the Bloodlines and have had great success with them. I shot 400's out of my 60# Assassin and I am shooting 330's out of my 68# Experience. Great arrows. I recently switched from Beman ICS 340's to the Bloodline 330's only because I had the 340's cut just a little shorter than I liked so I went back to the Easton's when I bought new ones.

I usually shoot the full camo bloodlines but they didn't have them this time and said they're not carrying them now. That's the only reason I switched

I have both the full camo Bloodlines and then the bare shaft ones, gpi is different as mentioned but I notice no difference in shooting them. Doesn't affect my grouping but it's not a huge weight difference, don't sweat it!
