i am shooting a bowtech general. 50-60 pound bow. hha sight. soon to be a octane trip wire.

i wanted to get different arrow. i hunt, but i want to target shoot also.. i was looking at the Easton Full Metal jackets.

would they be a good arrow choice. ?? please fill me in.

The FMJ's are a great arrow to hunt with, due to there weight. I would not use them for a target arrow though if your looking to compete. Unless you are spot on with your yardage estimation it will be tough.

Generally speaking you want a light, i.e flat shooting, arrow for target stuff. You don't need 60#'s of KE to kill foam;)

What is your DL?(draw length) You will probably need a .500 spine beings the General is not a very aggresive bow

.400 spine is what I would shoot, possibly cut arrows back to about 28'' as well. I'm sure you will have enough length still
