I don't currently.. but I just bought a jig today and am going to do a little cresting & fletch some new arrows! Hope it goes as well as I have it planned in my head..
I have to pro shop cut mine and then Fletch them with quick fletch. I thought about using my high speed cut off tool, but just took them to the pro shop.
I have a fletching jig, but I'm going to start buying the NAP Quickfletch. .Those are great and saves A LOT of time! I still have a lot of vanes left and I'll probably use those on old arrows that I use to shoot squirrels! I don't have an arrow saw. . I use a Dremel tool with a small thin cut off wheel. . I tried it on an old arrow several years ago and it worked great!
I buy my arrows with the factory fletching. I have my shop cut them, but I install the inserts (after squaring). If I damage a vane I typically have the shop redo it. I have a blitz but I think they do a better job. I want them to be identical to factory (the rest of them). However, sometimes I get to playing with setups and experiment with use different degrees and types of vanes. The quickfletch are great but I'm not completely sold (extra weight in the rear and if you damage it, you change the whol thing).
My old saw crapped out a few years ago. I need to replace finally as right now I have to order shafts pre-cut. I have been making my own arrows since around 1999 I think.
^what he said^ I started fletching and wrapping my own earlier this month and I will never pay for another to be fletched or wrapped.
I get them cut at the shop and fletch my own when needed. I use the Bitzenburger jig with a right helical clamp.
i cut and fletch all my arrows as well as both my brothers, nephew, and buddies. I have an apple archery saw, bohning helix, bitz. Mostly just use bohning helix with blazers on all arrows. I just sent my brother a dozen fletched in Minn Viking colors. Nice to be able to customize to what you or they want
I cut mine with a dermal and scrap wood as guides and use white reflective tape for wraps "real nice at night when looking for a lost arrow or deer" and a bitzenburger jig to fletch. Lots of fun.
