Long story short, Iam out of town and my new bow I ordered is waiting for me when I get home. I had arrows I was going to use for it, but turns out they will not work. So I want to order new arrows asap, so when I get home I can be ready to shoot (have already been waiting over 2 weeks, and Im dying to shoot it). So is there a way to get a good estimate on what to cut an arrow to without being there? I bought an Obsession Knightmare GT, have it set at 28" and will be using a QAD drop away on it.
Do you not have a shop close that can cut arrows? I can get a set cut and inserts set usually in under an hour.
I don't. I live in the middle of no where. Also, I will be getting the bow in my hands Christmas eve morning, so nothing will be open at least till Saturday Im sure.
In that case, you can always shoot them a little if they are long. Cant shoot at all if they are short. Time for an arrow saw.
My draw is 27" and my arrows are cut to 26.5" because I didn't use one of those arrows with the measurements on it and I can still cut them down to 25 3/4" so they're 1" in front of the rest. I would prefer if they were cut to 1" in front so I might nock out the inserts and have them cut down. If your draw is 28" I would assume 27" would be the safest way to go if you want to make sure they will be long enough.
My draw is 29", and I shoot a 29" arrow. Eders is the best for prderi g arrows that I have found! Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
