Arrow leaving fletching marks on drop away rest

    Lots of good videos on youtube. I followed one by Draves Archery and have never had an issue with my QAD HDX.

    The rest should come up the last inch of draw and the white lines need to be lined up at full draw. If not the timing is off and this is controlled by the cord.

    Consistent contact should be accurate. Not very forgiving but if you do your part, it will be accurate.

    If you still have contact after adjusting the timing, change the rest over to the tl1 launcher (this is for the qad) it will allow for a little more clearance.

    The nock height needs to be correct as well. Too high or too low will both cause contact issues.

    I agree totally I just went through this with mine. Its a pain but its necessary to get it right

    Once you understand the process, its pretty easy.

    You can't cut corners.

    I can't offer any help on the drop away, but your son's whisker biscuit set up is incorrect.

    If you look at the bristles you will notice that black colored bristles are stiffer to support the weight of the shaft. You want to avoid contact with the stiffer bristles by shooting cock feather up. I shoot an apache cock feather up as well.
