    Simm's Arrow Holder

I use the one that comes with the Limb Driver but Ben loves Simm's and I'd pick one up if I lose my LD.

it holds your arrows no matter what. It has 2 pinchers that hold your arrow when not drawn, and open when you draw. If you let down, they grab hold of the arrow again. works flawlessly.

    NAP Arrow Holder

This holder actually grabs your arrow and holds it in place even if you tilt/turn your bow. Been using it for two years and I love it.

That's identical to the one that comes with the Limb Driver and the one I currently use. I do however clip the tips of the holder for fatter shafts.

Actually, I do love the Simms, BUT I liked the holder that came stock with my Drop Zone a ton better. Are you having problems with it? I actually set out to find one for a while after I switched to a Limb Driver rest. The Simms will work, but make sure that you got the original one cause I like it better. If you are loosing arrows out of it, then maybe you need to look to a full containment rest as you are likely trying to shoot upside down.:deer:

That's the one that Rob's using. I personally us Super Glue Gel on mine. I guess some may argue that it may work too well and mess with your finish, but I don't plan on not having a launcher and the stuff works great.

Ben, is the original one the one Rob posted the link to? I lost my holder when I bought my LD, and never bothered putting one on. I don't need it much, but I think it's time I get one.

It's a built in feature of the QAD rest which is why I bought it.

Dave, are you still having problems with the arrow holder falling off? And if so, are you using any silencing felt on your riser shelf?

If not, try getting some silencing felt material and putting that on your riser shelf. Then, super glue the arrow holder to the felt. Before I got my QAD HD rest, I was using a Ripcord. The biggest downfall with the Ripcord was the fact the launcher arm falls when letting down. Therefore, the arrow slams the shelf when letting down, making an evil noise. I put a Sims pad on the silencing felt, which lined the riser shelf, to silence the arrow and the launcher arm upon release.

I think the best part was the pad seemed to stick MUCH better to the felt then it would have to the bare riser.

    Just a thought.

Hopefully you will solve the issue.
