I need to replace some fletchings in son of my carbon arrows and was thinking of the heat shrinks. I just fear it will make my arrows fly crazy. Please help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The heat shrinks fly just fine. They're very convenient and have worked well for me in the past. The only reason I don't use them is because I enjoy fletching arrows and trying different vanes Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I have used the quick fletch for the past 3 years. It’s super easy and saves a lot of time. Never had a problem with them coming loose or flying erratically !! Would recommend them to anyone. Just reflected 6 last night in about a total of 10 minutes. Mostly time to get the water boiling. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
The quick fletches were terrible for me. I tried two packages and none stayed on my arrow more than a few days. I was not shooting groups either. I will say there is a chance I did something wrong (water too hot put in too long, not long enough... i dont know) but I have had no problems just fletching with my goat tuff jig and my arrows fly like darts, plus I can try different configurations.
I feel it's important people learn how to build arrows properly and not take shortcuts like that. It's a great way to improve your knowledge and understanding. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
I used to fletch my own arrows but went to the NAP Quikfletch 2" and couldn't be happier. Saves time and are just as accurate as old style of fletching arrows. One thing I will do is put a drop glue at the front end of each vane for added strength.
