I shoot a bowmadness xs, 60lb dw, 28" dl, 425gn arrow (total weight). My arrow is square to my string. I have a single pin site and I'm sited in at 20 yards. My arrow is about 5 to 7 inches low at 30 yards. does this sound right? I realize my arrow is probably a little heavy, resulting in lower velocity. I just didnt expect such a dramatic arrow drop between 20 and 30. Does this sound right to u all ???

That sounds about right to me, your only getting about two more inches then me but you have about 65gns on me.

Sight it in dead-on at 25 yards. You should only be a few inches low at 30yds and just a little high at 20yds.

Thanks guys. Im just use to flatter trajectory. My last bow (Mathews fx2)was shooting 350grain arrows. I gave that to my dad and bought the bowmadness. I guess I expected it to push these heavier arrows a little faster. Would u guys recommend a light arrow? Or would I be sacrificing kinetic energy? I'm shooting easton st epic 340's.

I wouldn't go to far down. Your shooting 60# which means your arrows isn't that fast. Which means less KE. I would recommend staying around 400 gr if you choose to get different arrows or turning your bow up on the poundage or getting a different sight.

Sounds about right in what you're getting and what you should be looking for. I'd keep things as they are and be happy if it were me.

Sounds right. I agree with rob on leaving them alone. Speed is cool but when you miss by a couple inches KE is king. Plan for the worst and hope for the best is always how I set my arrows up. I've seen some people shooting super fast setups try to take big game and its never pretty kinda like a pin cushion.

Sounds pretty normal to me. try a lighter arrow if it is a problem other than thatI would just leave it alone as it's not a big deal. you could try a sight with more than 1 pin also if you think that will make things easyer :)
