So I have decided that its time to start doing my own bow tuning and arrow maintenance. I am in the process of reading a few books on bow tuning, but I have a question regarding carbon arrows and cutting them down. My arrows are short, 26" to be exact. Can I just cut an arrow to proper length from one end, or is it ideal to take some off from both ends? Does one way have benefits over the other in regards to flight or strength? And lastly, if taking from both ends, would one be cutting equal amount? Thanks

Cut from both ends. Most straightness imperfections in arrows occurs in the last 1" or so of the shaft. Spin each shaft before cutting, and see if one end or the other can have a bad spot cut out. If they both seem roughly the same I cut from both sides.
