i have been having alot of trouble lately with arrow clearance and my bow. i move my cable guard farther away and i guess it moves back or something. there is a black mark on every one of my lower right fletchings from where it hits the cable.when the arrow is nocked, the fletchings are about half an inch away and even when i am at full draw the cable is still out of the fletchings path. im stumped as to why it is doing this. it is making it hard to walkback and broadhead tune. i thought i fixed that problem but apparently not. any help would be appreciated!

I posted this same response in your other thread.

Have you tried rotating your nocks so that your cock vane points away from the cables? This will give you the most clearance. Sometimes that helps.

that would make sense. but i shoot a whisker biscuit and i think a fletching would hit the harder bristles at the bottom??

Okay, didn't realize you were using a biscuit. How exactly are you moving your cable guard away?

i have a bow madness XL and i am just unscrewing both the screws that hold it straight and then rotating it away from the string....right now it is at "1 or 2 o clock" and still hitting the arrow....

You sure its the cable, and not the biscuit causing it? My money is you need to tune your rest. 1/2" of cable clearance is a mile.

I really don't see how your arrow could be hitting your cables, judging by your pics.

Only thing I can think of is maybe you're torquing your bow. I just went into the garage and drew back my bow. I torqued it so much that I actually made the arrow touch my cables. Maybe you are doing that and not realizing it? Wish I could help!
