X2 on the easton fmj's and the axis's , I use to shoot the axis but switched to the fmjs when i bought my mr7 .Both are awesome arrows.
I shoot Easton Da' Torches. Add the brass insert for added weight and use a 125 grain slick trick standard. I am going to pick up some FMJs soon. I've heard nothing but great things from them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I wonder how good the new FMJ will be. They will use the deep six . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I have deep 6 inserts in my current FMJs. Deep 6 inserts for FMJ's have been available for over a year now. FMJ and axis shafts can both be retrofitted with deep 6 inserts. It's all a matter of which broadheads you plan on shooting. The deep 6 offerings right now are pretty limited. NAP has a few deep 6 heads, as does muzzy, rage, and ram cat. I'm not sure of any other companies making deep 6 heads currently. I'm a spitfire and killzone guy so I didn't mind making the switch from HIT inserts to deep 6. Looks to me like the "new" FMJ has an upgraded paint job, and will have a narrower diameter closer to that of the A/C injection shaft. Should be a very solid arrow.
My favourite arrow is without a doubt the FMJs dont have a single bad thing to say about em, they are tough, a bit heavier than your standard arrow, and have out penerated every other arrow ive used. significantly. As much as i love my fmjs im thinkin of trying out the new deep six injexion fmj for next season.
Dont mean to jack this thread What was the reason for you switching to the deep six from the HIT inserts? What difference did it make? Is it just to use the deep six bhs?
