I met the fine young lady, she is way to smart for that bs. She has a extremely good head on her shoulder.
I know many people who smoke a little here and there and even a couple who do it far more than a little. In fact, a guy I work with, who is a brillient systems admin, a good husband and father and an honest to goodness "good ol' country boy" smokes it daily. Anyway, I think legalizing it would at the very least eliminate that portion of the illegal drug trade in this country. I"m not saying, as Afflicted noted earlier, to legalize any other drug. Pot, compared to almost any other drug, including those that are legal in this country like alchohol and ciggerates, is far less destructive. Alchohol and cigerettes kill a lot of people in this country compared to pot. Legalize it, make money on it by taxing it, creating jobs around it, etc.
She might fool me but iv had calls when she was at a party by the state police. He told me she had NOT been drinking and was free to come home when it was cleared out. She is dedicated to dancing and I dont think she will screw that up. Then again, teens do things that surprise us all sometimes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
If its legal it will be done more often. It has carcinigans. There are conflicting reports to how dangerous it is. But it is dangerous. But I have seen it first hand how it affects people. IMO,It does not need to be legal. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
http://www.ucsf.edu/news/2012/01/11282/marijuana-shown-be-less-damaging-lungs-tobacco What have you seen it do to people? I have a number of friends who have smoked marijuana with regularity for a long time who are very successful and good family men. I'm not saying it should be legal. I don't use it. But if I had to choose between smoking a J every day versus being addicted to cigarettes it's not even a contest which one I would choose. I quit smoking cigs about 6 years ago. It was an extremely difficult addiction to kick.
I quit cigs in 96. Any habit is hard to quit. Imo, the word addiction is a cop out. The biggest issue I have seen is it is a "begginers drug" stepping stone to something worse. But it kills the drive and desire to be better and do something better . Ive discussed this subject enough Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
You're 47 and I'll be 36 in just over a month. I've done more and experienced more in my life than 99% of people twice my age. But, its always fun to assume, isn't it? Really, I was hoping to have an intellectual conversation about this, but it seems like that's not possible here. Have a good Christmas, I know I will.
I don't know anything about your daughter, I was just stating that according to statistics, its highly possible. You have a Merry Christmas, as well.
I'm not going to debate it any further. But I found this article that pretty much backs what I have seen. http://www.ndsu.edu/alcoholinfo/students/marijuana_myths_facts/ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Here is another article: http://norml.org/marijuana http://norml.org/library Actually, a whole bunch of articles.
The way i look it at is that the only person that can stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun. The shooting at pearl high school years back in pearl mississippi stopped because the assistant principal went to his truck and got his personal gun and held the guy at gun point until police got there.
