I never remember a season like this. It has been blowing like crazy here in NY for as long as I can remember since the season opener. I think I remember one (maybe 2 sits) where it hasn't been 15mph+! 15mph tonight with gusts up to 30mph. Guess what? Same for tommorow. Combined with the summer time temps the past week and the full moon..... YIKES!!:throw::mad::rant:

Oh well.... at least good cool air is on the horizon. Hopefully we can get some good hunting conditions when it really starts getting nutty out there.

Good hunting conditions are in your future. It's going to be spectacular here this weekend. Just a couple days and it should make it to you. Good luck.

Yep, I totally agree. Its been howling here too. You'd think the trees wouldn't have many leaves left after the last couple weeks. TONS of acorns on the ground though.

Hey, at least in a stiff wind, you're scent will be in another county!

We had several days of high winds. (30 mph with 45 mph gusts) I have a fish barrel headed somewheres towards Indiana. I did gain an inflatable pool tho'. Not sure where that came from. Missouri probably. :D

The near constant wind is something I really don't like about Central IL. (But North Dakota was way worse)

Virginia is no different. It's been way too warm, and now we got wind too, yay. It does a feel a lot cooler today, and tomorrow morning should be prime time :)

I had to get down an hour or so early this morning because we had 25 to 30 mph gusts coming through.

Didn't even bother hanging my stand tonight, ground hunted and had a deer sneak around me to the left. Only deer I saw, except driving home...they were ALL out.

It was nasty for a couple days but today was pretty calm. Tomorrow is suppose to be pretty quiet too. Did a fast scout after work... deer all over the place. Bucks doing a little harrashing. Should be a good weekend here for hunting.

I'm 13th'ing it. Went out this morning for one of my best sits and tomorrow was supposed to be light winds, get home this evening and gusts to nearly thirty with sustained in the low 20's. I'll be sitting at home
