With the seasons rapidly approaching in some states...is your hunting rig set in stone? All your gear is chosen, pins set, broadheads shot, etc?

Late last week I shot broadheads, set my pins and finalized everything on my bow's setup. I am good to go and still with 30 agonizing days to wait.:D

Had to get new string...so finish breaking that in this week...then a quick paper tune and broadheads...I could hunt tomorrow too if I had to though...but unfortunately I have over 40 days still

No as can be seen in my post about boots. Thats all I'm lacking though. Everything else is good. 45 days and a wake-up!

I'm ready to go! All my clothes have been washed in the last couple of days. My bow is shooting bullet holes. I've got 2 weeks from today and I'll be in a tree. Now if we could just get these 95 degree days to go away.

I'm pretty much good to go with one of my bows, the other one is still being crafted! I just got my 150gr Stingers in the mail yesterday, going to shoot them today. After that, I'm good to go with the Mohawk. Depending on when my new Big River Longbow arrives I might try and get it set up for this season, should be fairly easy, just a matter of changing tip weight. I've got the shafts and points on hand waiting patiently.

I put a new Proslide on my son's Diamond, almost have it dialed in as of last night, we should get it done today. We'll screw some BH on his arrows and get them dialed in then we are good to go!

    I can't wait!

Jeff, I think our seasons open on the same day, I just realized how close the season actually is after reading your post! Best part I don't have a day off work until then, its going to fly by!

Getting there. I have to refletch some arrows, get a new insert in one, do an inventory of my broadheads, etc. Little stuff at this point, but it still needs to get done.

I don't really finalize until a couple days before and then I'll go out and shoot each hunting arrow with a BH at each pin distance, then resharpen the BH's.
