Apparently I'm a very fortunate man. My wife has no issue with them, and we discuss where they would look best. Right now I have two shoulder mounts and two euro mounts in the living room. We have vault ceiling in the living room/kitchen area, so it sets up real nicely to have a bunch of mounts eventually :)

I still have not shot my first buck, but according to my wife a Euro mount won't due and I have to get a full mount. With that being said she would like me to put it in the garage when I get it, but would like to eventually turn one of the garages into a man cave/trophy room for me once we have saved up enough money to get the work done. As much as I want to hang a mount in the house, I can't really argue with that.

My largest mount rotates from above the mantle to the stairwell to 2nd floor. Smaller mounts are mixed in here and there with one in the garage above my tool boxes. Still have numerous ones that I would still like to skull mount or place on plaques, but I am guessing they will remain in boxes until I die. My wife is pretty supportive of my biggest hobby, but it has taken 20 yrs (15 yrs of marriage) to earn that approval!

The goal is to finish my basement so I can have a man cave to put them in because that's where I'd want them anyway. We just don't have the wall space in the living room or family room to display them properly so they're hanging in the garage in order of harvest at the moment.

When I was attached it started that the one mount was ok in the main area. That became 4 which was a bit much, but still ok.
Now that I am solo I have one in the main area & created a mount area in another part of thehouse. I like it better this way, rather than all of them in full view all the time

I got lucky with my wife. She loves the mounts as much as I do so she tries to decorate the house around my stuff with other outdoors decor. Yeah, never letting her go.

The day she has the job to pay for this house on her own is the day she can tell me when and where I can hang my mounts... I tell her everytime that I would be happy to work part time if she wanted to pay for everything I do! lol

we just moved and I let her choose all the decoration on the main floor, bc i honestly dont care. But there is a perfect spot on the fireplace for a buck mount.....and finally I won. I will be hanging my largest in the main living room, and the rest in my basement/man cave

Nothing can be "looking"at my wife, so my stuff goes in the garage until the kids are gone and I get my Man Cave back. Of course I need to kill a buck worth mounting...
