Married and I have taxidermy all over the house, a half mount bear stares at the dinner table, fish, bears, birds, moose antlers all over the house. Then again I have a stock tank with koi in the living room all winter, for the wife so it all works out

My wife makes almost $20k a year more than me so that line of argument wouldn't get me very far LOL.

Was hoping to have my mancave/cabin up befor winter but looks like spring now. Right now we have mounts, skulls or racks in every room in the house except the bathroom, some belong to the wife so all is good.

    I'm extremely fortunate!
My wife is the best! She hunts and fishes also. Our living room is full of deer mounts, turkey fans, and duck mounts. The only thing that limits what we hang in the living room is space.

My wife and I hunt together and she wants animals in every room of the house. Our coffee table is covered in sheds and I have sheds in piles in the living room. I love my wife.

The wife says it can go wherever I want to put it the first step is to actually shoot something that is worthy of putting on the wall since I started hunting in 2009-2010 I haven't had much luck in the buck department, but by mostly choice I believe in management and letting bucks mature but I have not shot any mature bucks I have however shot a unicorn and a few doe

My wife would like more deer mounts in the house. I've never been a fan of shoulder mounts, so most of my bucks are euro's and hang in the garage. I do have one mounted, but it would take me killing a giant to consider getting another one mounted.

My wife doesn't allow anything, I just hang them where I want . Had the walls pretty full of all her dang pictures a few years ago and I gave her a week to figure out which one she was taking down for the latest head . After the week was up , I took down the one that I hated

I have a decent 6x6 bull elk euro mount that my wife loves. We outgrew our condo and are in limbo until we find a house and currently residing with the in-laws. My father in law loves the mount as well! It was the first thing we moved over and my mother in law is learning to live with where we hung it

Man cave only. Heck, she won't even allow my first buck in the house at all due to a horrible taxidermy job.

I have a smallish 7 point mounted. We were hunting together right after Hurricane Hugo, we had just moved to SC, got lost looking for the deer, didn't get out of the woods until 10:00 PM, got pulled over for speeding on the way home, had to come back the next day with our Lab puppy, Rebel, 3 months old... he found the buck in like 3 minutes, then we had to drag it out together. It was longer than the bed of my Toyota... but only a seven point. Quite the adventure... we got that one mounted. B&C Score... maybe 65. But she has the best time retelling that 25 year old story. The horns may be puny but the memory is priceless.

My girlfriend (most likely future wife) wont have a problem with it.

She'll just hang her heads next to mine.

Right now, I hang them wherever I please (I still live with my parents while I finish my last semester of college). My girlfriend of almost 6 years knows that mounts will be all over the house we build after I finish college. She has already been thinking of how she wants to decorate the house in order to keep a consistent theme.

    My room right now:

I actually have 4 skulls hanging directly above my bed. She used to be kinda freaked out by them when she woke up in the morning, but she is used to it now :tu:

If it wasn't for dead stuff, I'm not sure there would be any decorations in our house....

    This.

We don't have anything else on the walls, besides a clock.

Anywhere I want, my fiancé doesn't care at all and actually enjoys the stuff.
