Studies have shown that young, educated, intelligent couples are choosing to not have kids, or simply have one. All the while the poor and uneducated continue to breed like rabbits. At what point do the uneducated outbreed the intelligent, thus the beginning of idocracy?
After reading the definition of idocracy I have decided this it all started after the election in 2008. Idocracy 1) A government that repeatedly makes bad decisions, resulting in worsening conditions for the country it runs. 2) A government run by an intellectually challenged leader. 3) A government full of cabinet members that couldn't find their asses with both hands and a flashlight. 4) A government consisting of people where if they were to pick their noses for a half hour, their heads would cave in.
I've actually been saying this for several years now. If you haven't seen the movie, Idiocracy, you need to. It's a poorly produced B movie, but the premice behind the movie is dead on. We are really moving in that direction.
nah, if this happened 20 years ago we would not have had the technological advances that we have had the last 2 decades
Culture is ever shifting. I would say because a child is born destitute does not mean the child will not adapt and become educated and successful. In other words, the ratio of destitute children being born is not supported with an end result resembling an oafish society. However, I do feel the potential is there to create it.
Yes we would. There will always be smart people, even in a stupid society. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
obviously there are a few anomalies, but for the most part, people generally stay within their class their entire lives this has been proven to be fact time and time again
This offends me. I think that its the elitist attitude that you can classify some ones worth by the amount of money or knowledge they have... Sorry.. this "people generally stay within their class " just hit me wrong Hooter! I sure would like to see your class break down sometime.. maybe it would change my feelings about your statement.
By "class", I mean their economic class. It is not meant to be offensive unless you are just insecure with your place in life.
Good for you. Seriously. But the majority of people do stay within their economic class. And there is a correlation with IQ/salary and fertility rates. Higher IQ/salary = less children Lower IQ/salary = more children I think just that in the past, the higher IQ/salary people were still having multiple children, but the trend these days is to not have children, or just stick with 1, thus still having a net negative.
