That's when I lived up by the city. I could have sold them but it was illegal to do so. When I bowfished up there I didn't have much trouble giving fish away to the folks fishing in the river. (even tho' it was the Fox River... eeewww!) Most of my city-friends were suspicious of any food I brought to a pot luck. :D

That's nasty! I have eaten some pretty weird things but coyotes.... blicky!! I'd have to be starving.

I made jerky out of jackrabbit once. It was like meat gum. Decent flavor but entirely too tough to ever bite through. I'd think a coyote would be like nasty-rank flavored meat gum. ;)

Sorry I've been busy getting drinking threads locked, sorry but couldnt resist lol. Did I miss something? Has someone been smoking wee# and hugng tree's while playing a guitar in their hemp assless chaps? Man O man what's this world coming to. Can't we all just grap a stick and beat something together? I don't. Particularly see myself shooting a bear or lion unless it gives me the funny eye, however I'm not the least bit bothered by anyone who hunts them either besides everyone knows the bears and the lions suck. :poke: Go chiefs or Rams.

The OP sounds a little soft to be a hunter. :whip:

While on my hog hunt in Florida this year, first morning out I stuck an old sow in the spine (that happens when your arrow first contacts the ground blind you're sitting in). :) Anyway, she's laying out there kicking and squealing and I try to shoot another hog but shot low. So I go out to to "finish" the first one off. Pulled out my knife and thrust it into her heart...man did she throw a fit over that one. I prefer for animals to run off and die but this was not the case. It seemed like she was taking forever to die. So I go all OJ Simpson style on her trying to speed up the process. The moment I saw a portion of her lung expanding and contracting through the stab wounds....I felt barbaric but quickly got over it. :) Maybe I should have just slit her throat.

BTW...she was preggers too. Killed 12 hogs with one shot (um...several stab wounds too). I tried to dispatch a fox one time with a rope but that didn't go too well either. That story is for another day though.
