Sure would give us a lot more toilet paper to clean up the job Obama is doing in the White House.

It depends on what you mean by "anti capitalism".

Most everything government is involved in can be argued as anti-capitalism to some extent.

I was just wondering y'all's thoughts on this b/c this topic was brought forth on another message board, and about 90% of the conservative Republicans believed that the government should abolish all national parks/forests.

I very strongly disagreed with all of them and I really had no idea that the majority of Republicans had a problem with national parks/forests.

    What do y'all think?

Seriously? I would strongly disagree with them as well. I am a firm believer that we need to protect certain parts of our country for generations to come and our National Parks and Forrests are true gems.

Since conservative republicans are very much anti government involvement, then the reason is probably not so much of it being a protected forest more than it's the government running it. Ask the same question again but this time ask if they would support keeping these but privatizing it. I'd be willing to bet that the 90% would drop significantly
