I looked into them a while ago. they're supposed to be really good in the cold. the one thing I noticed when I tried them on is the crinkling sound they made when moving. there must be a thermal layer inside the clothing and I thought it would make too much noise when the temps really got down to say zero or colder.
Borntohunt I looked into them at our local sporting good show this spring and found there product deserves a try so I bought a beanie as I have everything else. I actually tried on a slipper they have that you where over your socks under your boots. I slipped my foot into a barrel of Dry ice for 5 minutes for the test. Never felt a thing. Was impressed. Would be worth the investment once I wear out my Kodiaks that are good for -145. But big!!! Rocky
Only experience I have with Arctic Shield is my late season coat. It's super warm and not bulky which is why it's perfect for bowhunting. Great products. I'm curious to see what experience others have with their base layers.
