It's been about 8 years since I've been on AT. I know they had issues back then.

Common AT themes....I’m joking, kind of, maybe
    Op: score this deer
Reply: why would you shoot that wait 10 more years
Op: I bought this bow, I have some setup questions?
Reply: it’s junk you should have bought the bow I shoot, even though I’ve never shot the bow you bought
Op: I lost all my arms and legs and bought a crossbow
    Reply: *banned*

Although I do enjoy reading nuts&bolts’ tuning threads

I believe they were hacked sometime last December and reset everyone's log/password. May want to check with a admin there. But why....BH.com is WAY better!

Yeah, the whole site had a major meltdown back in the winter and everyone had to change their passwords. And even then, there were still issues. If it weren't for the classifieds I would never go there.

    Blessings.........Pastorjim

I tried to use that site once. I got lost in the sea of 4,000 ads on every page and then distracted by a banner that had a hot chick in a bikini and promised to show me the 10 hottest celebrity beach bodies so I forgot why I was there in the first place. Never went back.

BHOD website is hands down the better, friendlier and all around bow hunting better place to be. The only caveat is if you need a question answered kinda soon, AT has more traffic and the classifieds are more abundant.

I get torn. Sometime I wish BHOD had a lot more traffic but then again I don't want it to turn into AT. I've been an active member here about 2 1/2 years. I can't see while typing this but maybe 250 posts (?) I'm a reader and not always a poster on every little thing, but on here every day.

Between Harleys, archery, hunting, guitars, martial arts and fishing I'm a member of a LOT of forums, some for over 15 years. I think in the 750ish range is the most posts on any forum. I have NEVER put anyone on ignore on any forum but AT and had to put two on ignore. One of them posted on a thread I started and I couldn't see his post until someone quoted him. I took him off ignore and forgot to put him back on. A day or two later he drew me into a pissing match. I don't know what made me madder what he was saying or the fact I let him. I never get into those things.

I'd say if I gave you 3 guesses and 2 didn't count you could guess one of them on ignore. As far as Nuts & Bolts, he's never been anything but helpful and cordial to me but he gets a lot of flak over his instructor credentials and a DVD from a long time ago. I don't care about his credentials, he's helped me and not charged me a dime.

PLUS - on BHOD site I've PM'd back and forth with Justin at one point and that's the closest I've ever got to hanging out with a movie star.

While there is some truth to the fighting and mean spirited posting over there it must be noted that there are still helpful people over there. And a lot of the guys shoot all year long - not just a couple months before the season which seems to be a theme here. Lots of bowhunting content here. Lots of archery content there. Doesn't seem to be a bad thing to have both.

I agree, I was just joking about it how some of the posts are. I read a lot over there I just don’t participate much.

Get with admin, they will send you a new password. It's worth being a member just to have access to the classifieds, Hell I've seen admin from here selling their stuff over there.
