Yes... before I joined this forum I browsed ArcheryTalk to see how they were now since it'd been so long since I was last there... did a U-turn real quick. Every time I go there I remember why it's been so long since I was last there. Hahaha
The only thing I ever looked at there was a thread on trespasser pics and strangest things to ever happen to you in the woods. I stumbled across this website one day while walking thru a neighborhood in Rockford by the mall. The neighborhood was out of power and I was trying to find the problem and restore electricity. There was an older model white pick up truck in a driveway with about every square inch covered in Bowhunting.com and bowhunt or Die stickers. Literally almost every square inch. I had to check it out. Here they seamed to welcome people and actually talk, not yell.
I started over there to learn 3 years ago. There is a ton of information over there, good and bad. I mainly just go to read and see whats new over there. Threads get buried so fast due to the traffic that its pretty hard to stay updated. I found this forum (BH) because someone on AT was bashing this forum. I wanted to find a new place that would have some different perspectives. I have been a bigger fan of this (BH) forum, it has its days, but 97.9% of the time it is pretty well maintained around here, you can not really help that. I have entered the turkey and deer contest through this site, I'm still pretty new member but being able to connect with some folks that I may not have before has greatly helped my hunting being on these contest teams. My first forum I ever joined was KTMtalk. They run a pretty tight ship over there, needless to say when I joined a larger forum I was surprised at the difference, BH has a similar feel.
Wonder what they could have been bashing about over here....that they couldn't run their mouths free I bet.
Yes, this seems to be one of the better forums out there. I like bowfreakz as well. Not a fan of AT or huntingcountry
I'm glad I found this place before AT... I've actually never even browsed their forum. May check out the classified section since it seems like a lot of people here like it.

Not so much, when you own a company or a website you man up. If someone sends you multiple messages via e-mail and phone you reply. When you have employees making questionable decisions and there are questions about this you don't ignore questions.
AT is full of professionals who know it ALL! I feel like every time I posted anything it was 20% Help, 10% Random, and 70% Hate Hate Hate! Just a fairytale forum with tons of trolls!
