Archery tag... thoughts?

I have not done the ciphering but I suspect that a #28 bow still packs a whollup foam tipped or not...

I think it looks like fun! Is there a way to get something on the end to show that you hit the person, like a paintball?

Maybe we will see these fields around more, like paintball fields!

Well, that I'm sure. I just know from afar you can't see one, so something bright would indicate it.
Either way, I'd try it (and probably not enjoy getting pelted).

 

I hunt with a 30# bow.

I don't think I would want to get hit by anything coming off it, at least not at close range.

 

this is the same setup as a paintball speedball field, Seems legit but wonder how it would feel getting shot from under 20 yards

 

I won't take a shot if the deer is more than about 12 yards away. But 30# is enough to kill a deer at that distance. Of course the arrow isn't tipped with a foam pad.

I would be concerned about equipment failure. What if the foam pad comes off in flight or tears when it hits. If a paintball comes apart in flight, no problem, but if that foam tip breaks up or falls off.......
