I've been shooting archery for a few years but this is my first year to deer hunt. I'm not that interested in a tree stand and have been using a pop-up hub or if the weather is good, a folding chair and don't move.

Anyway, just wondering.... Does anyone archery hunt from the elevated plywood blinds like rifle hunters use? Seems like from an archery standpoint they may be better for a crossbow or else require a tall roof for the vertical limbs.

Any insights, pros/cons? Also, I may have a place to erect one this summer so pics for ideas are welcome.

    Thanks.

Some folks do it and have vertical windows to help shooting down below the blind. No reason it won't work but it's not very mobile.
