Hey guys I was in the pro shop today talking with one of the instructors and I had to share the info. Andy is a retired firefighter due to an auto accident. Since then he has tried to give back as much as possible to others with disabilites. It started with teaching kids to shoot their first bow. Then proceeded to the idea of using archery to give abilty back to people that have disabilites. I've seen him rig up a release for a gentleman that had lost most of his right arm that he could use with his mouth. Today I learned he has jumped both feet in and started a company called Bow Heart. He been working with groups and one on one and its amazing to watch. Today he had a group of eight kids with autism. Off the range they had a real hard time focusing and staying calm on range they looked like they were seasoned target shooters. I tip my hat to andy for taking our love for our sport and sharing it with people that would never of had a chance to enjoy it. Andy is based out of Archery Custom Shop in Forest Park IL but is willing to travel and has equipment for everyone. If you know of anyone that might be intrested in this info please pass it on this is the future of our sport!.His contact info is
