I'm willing to panic buy...for now. As soon as I get the check I'm waiting on I'm sure ill be getting ripped off my some greedy punk selling one. But thats because I would rather over pay and have one then sleep on it to long and miss my chance. If all this blows over and we can still get them down the road and prices go back where they should, ill buy a couple more at the right price.

Maybe. I got by without one this long, I won't lose any sleep if the worst case scenario happens. If less people would panic buy, the prices wouldn't be this way to begin with. All cyclical.

I am not suggesting anyone panic buy, I am just saying if there is something you really want for your rifle and it falls into the "assault" category you might want to try to pick it up.. Also, a total AWB like the last one is unlikey. However, I can easily see restrictions put in place on things such as large capacity mags, telescoping stocks, flash hiders and pistol grips.

I have bought a lot of stuff the past week, I only paid slightly inflated prices on the two complete RRA lowers I posted on here a few days ago. I also paid for a little inflation on four pmags at $20 each. I am not going to get into everything else I have bought on the open forum but it was all Rock River Arms stuff as well as magpul pmags and I paid regular price on all of the rest of it. None of it is back order stuff. It's all on it's way already or will be in the next couple days.

Southdakotahunter knows the stuff I picked up and the prices, he can vouch that there are regular priced items out there, you just have to seek them out and commit on the spot to the purchase.

No doubt...but thats not going to change quickly so I cant plan on that. And the only reason I went this long is because I could afford one till last year. And I had to chose between an AR or new bow. Made the wrong choice lol. But this year I dont need a bow. Im pretty young...if I could I would have a few by now. I dont really get into that whole dooms day prep stuff..but theres a few things I want to have in the event something bad does happen...a few tactical weapons are the highest on the list and soon might not be possible to get, so I cant sleep on it now.

Anyone ever deal with fulton armory or know anything about them? Says they have lowers, both complete and stripped, in stock but I couldn't get an order to go through online and 50 minutes into their hours of operation still goes to a recording stating they're closed. Can't get on anything but the mobile platform while at work.

Reviews say they are overpriced, but everyone seems to be these days. Lack of being able to contact them has me a bit leery.

My dad builds AR's and he uses Natchez shooting supplies and mid south shooter. Both seem to get him what he needs

Thanks for the lead. I picked up 10, next 3 weeks are going to be rough. IL over the next 3 days and California's Senator Feinstein will introduce her federal gun ban on the 22nd.

What was the pre-freak out price for a typical complete upper? I'm just as guilty, I paid panic pricing for the lower but not too upset considering.

I'm going to sit on what I have for now, I'm not in a rush for a firing gun. I'll have to see just how much money Uncle Sam decides to give me back this year. Might be able to get one then if needed. I did order 300 rounds, just incase chicago tries their per bullet taxing thing again, but even that is on a 3 week back order.

Didn't want to high jack buckeyes gay thread, but where do you stand on your build?

I got panicked last week and bought a complete lower, it's supposed to have shipped today but the guy is slow to respond. Starting to get a little worried.

Other than that I picked up 10 30rd mags through buckeyes lead and bought 300rds from back order. I'm starting to get nervous on the upper. Prices continue to go up, and a guy at work who is big into guns thinks in the next 3 months I probably won't be able to find one.

Got a lead on 20 RD PMAGS. $13.95 per, limit two. No Black but two color options. Also have RRA Single Stage Lower Parks Kit for $70 - limit one. Both in stock. I bought 2 PMAGS, 1 RRA LPK for $107 shipped - pretty good considering current market value... PM me for info...

CLS - Yes, I would expect lead times to increase on uppers in a lot of cases. You can find some places with uppers in stock but you have to hunt and they aren't available for long. Make sure you get a bolt carrier group included with your upper if you can. Those may be the hardest part to find right now - IMO... If you are going to buy an assembled upper, may be wise to get your order placed and 'lock in' with todays pricing and get in line at the same time...

*** Update - PMAGS are out of stock already ***
